The Association focuses on key local issues affecting Sippy Downs and District, for example - roads, traffic, safety, environment, community development, recreation, services for youth and older residents. This Association presents a united voice on these issues to all levels of government. It works closely with a number of key stakeholders, including the Maroochy Shire Council, the State Government, local
schools, developers and the University of the Sunshine Coast.
The Sippy Downs & District Community Association Inc. (SDDCA) is a 'not-for-profit' organisation run entirely by volunteers. We are reliant on our members and supporters for funds to keep the Association viable.
Membership of the Association costs just $20 per annum per household, $10 for concession, or corporate membership starts at $25.
